Manjusri, Bodhisattva of wisdom, is a mirror for the divine intelligence within each of us. He embodies the wisdom of all Buddhas in the past and those still to come. In his right hand he holds the double-edged sword of incisive intelligence which represents wisdom cutting through ignorance. In the other hand he holds the sacred text, Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing transcendent wisdom. Manjusri symbolizes Buddhist wisdom as the clear knowledge of reality. He will help you master the dharma, sharpen your memory and attain mental perfection and eloquence.

Suggested meditation for wisdom and intelligence:
Relax your body; breathe slowly and deeply allowing your mind to clear. Visualize the image of Manjusri sitting in front of you. See a light emanating from his third eye and entering into your own third eye as you repeat the seed syllable of Manjusri with the tip of your tongue touching the palate: "Dhi Dhi Dhi Dhi Dhi Dhi...."
