Amber Lotus Publishing was founded in 1988 as part of a larger effort to raise funds to preserve the sacred culture of Tibet. Although we no longer focus our efforts exclusively on Tibetan relief projects, we still operate according to the principles of Right Livelihood. Our efforts have evolved more and more to include projects that shed light on the sacred dimensions of everyday life. We publish calendars, cards, journals, books and wisdom decks that have heart and soul, that illuminate spirit in the world, that promote wholeness, healthy lifestyles and earth stewardship. Our products focus on the diversity of world cultures and sacred traditions as well as the inspiration and beauty of the natural world. Today Amber Lotus is an extended family of nine people, including a martial artist, an opera singer, two moms and a dad, musicians, gardeners, artists, and two practicing Tibetan Buddhists. We strive to consistently offer products that are unique, authentic and distinctive. We care about the messages we convey, and we care about the world we all live in; we hope that shows in the work we do. Our mission is to bring you a sense of the eternal by illuminating spirit in the world. Within that, our goal is to do the greatest good with the least harm. Over the last two decades we have donated to a variety of worthy organizations such as Trees for the Future, NativeEnergy, International Campaign for Tibet and Feed the Children.
