New Calendar — Shepard Fairey 2016 Wall Calendar

Shepard Fairey 2016 wall calendar

The name Shepard Fairey brings to mind street art images and graphic activism. For the last 25 years, Fairey’s distinctive illustrations have symbolized entire grassroots movements, from his early “Obey Giant” graffiti and sticker campaign, to his Occupy Wall Street and Rock the Vote posters. Fairey’s graphic style has been a call to action for dozens of causes, including World AIDS Day, Earth Day, and the UN International Day of Peace.

Amber Lotus is proud to pay tribute to this folk hero with the Shepard Fairey wall calendar, a collection of illustrations spanning the artist’s incredible career. This is the first calendar to provide a visual survey of the work of this gifted provocateur, whose philosophy of skate-punk public art made him a counterculture disciple in the early 1990s. Each month the social activism represented in these illustrations will inspire you to – in the artist’s words – question everything. What you see is not always what you get.

A single tree reduces carbon in the atmosphere for as long as it grows. So we plant a lot of trees: 650,000 and counting.
