Text from the back of card:

Ram and Sita: Ram is an incarnation of Vishnu and Sita of his spouse Lakshmi. In order to defeat the ten-headed demon Ravana, who could not be killed by gods, celestial beings or demons, Vishnu and Lakshmi incarnated as true humans. Ram and Sita represent the morally ideal man and woman. The painting shows Ram and Sita resting in the garden after they defeated Ravana in the great Mahabaratha epic and were crowned King and Queen of Ayodhya. Ram holds the lotus of purity and his favorite weapon, the bow. Sita holds the lotus also, while her other hand grants fearlessness.
