Louise Temple, LMSW, is a writer, teacher, and therapist. Trained at the BBC, London, and with a background in independent filmmaking, Temple came to the United States in 1980 to open the groundbreaking movie Anti-Clock, which she coproduced. She went on to cocreate the TNT documentary “American Dreamers” and the American Movie Classics documentary “Homeward Bound,” among other TV documentary specials and industrial shorts. Her most recent credit as a documentary writer is for The Mayo Clinic Wellness Solutions DVD series, ten DVDs on integrative medicine. As a creative writing teacher, Temple has served on the faculty of the International Women’s Writing Guild, the New York Open Center, the IM School of Healing Arts, and the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
