We Plant Trees — more than ONE MILLION and growing!
We cherish the Earth and are actively offsetting the environmental impact of our publishing activities.
Amber Lotus Publishing has been planting trees since 2008 to offset our carbon footprint and resource usage. Each year we plant more than 20 times the number of trees used to create our products. As of January 2021, we have planted 1,050,000 trees through our partnership with Trees for the Future.
Trees for the Future (TREES) is a non-profit agroforestry resource center currently working with thousands of farming families in nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa where the climatic and economic challenges are the most pressing and where it can make the greatest impact. TREES has planted over 191 million trees since 1989. Learn more about the program at trees.org.
In addition to removing CO2 from the atmosphere, these trees help restore degraded land, reverse deforestation, improve soil quality, and augment local standards of living.
