Artist Spotlight — Maja Säfström

Amber Lotus is delighted to welcome Maja Säfström to the Amber Lotus family. We have published a new line of greeting cards featuring her work and will be releasing a wall and mini calendar for 2024. 

Maja is the New York Times bestselling illustrator and author of The Illustrated Compendium of Amazing Animal Facts. Her witty and relatable style has won her an engaged international following on social media, widespread critical acclaim, and multiple awards. “I often experience something in life and make a drawing of that,” Maja says. “I think the speech bubbles are a very important part of my work. I love combining text with drawings.”
