Birds of a Feather
In addition to The Cat, an Amber Lotus planner that I bought for my grown-up daughter, I also bought the Birds of a Feather 2024 book for myself. Where The Cat is sparse, the Birds planner is bursting with delightful, often amusing illustrations and soft colors. The figures include not just birds, but also their world, their habitats, and the other birds and critters with whom they share the world. I use the pages with a bit of open space to jot notes, reminders, ideas, doodles, and shopping lists. The pocket inside the back cover carries postage stamps, stickers, tickets, receipts, and small photos of my family. Getting older, I need my book more and more each week. I carry it whenever I go to an appointment so I'm ready to schedule the next one. The book looks small but it does all the work I need it to do. Because I keep my Amber Lotus books until they fall apart, all of these details are available to me for 10 to 15 years--no picking at tiny squares on an itty-bitty computer or cell phone! I've been buying from Amber Lotus for about 10 years, and this edition may be my favorite.
