Patrick Dougherty combines carpentry skills with a love of nature. Over the past 30 years, he has built more than 270 works, which quickly evolved from single pieces on conventional pedestals to monumental-scale environmental works that require saplings by the truckload. He is an internationally acclaimed artist who has earned numerous awards and fellowships, including the 2011 Factor Prize for Southern Art. His sculptures have been seen worldwide, and a major book about Patrick and his work, Stickwork, was published in 2010. For more information, please visit his website.
